Using Smartphone for configuration and time synchronization

TimeLume can be configured and gets its time from your smartphone.
This makes TimeLume an excellent companion for a traveling person, traveling between time zones.
Timelume will always be synchronized with the correct time and timezone following your smartphone.

However, there are some differences in the way TimeLume interact with IOS devices and Android devices.

Synchronizing time

TimeLume Android App will enable automatic time synchronization
between a Smartphone and TileLume projector.
Follow these steps to enable time synchronization:

1. Download and install the app on your Android Smartphone.
   Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
2. Run the application and read the opening instructions,
   and grant the application the required permissions.
   The following settings and permissions are required:
   (Can be found under Settings->Apps->TimeLume)
   1. Notifications: Allowed
   2. Permissions: Location-Allowed all the time, Nearby devices and Notifications
   3. Battery: Unrestricted
3. Power up your TimeLume device
   (there should be a red light coming out of the lens).
4. Within a few moments, your Smartphone will issue a Bluetooth pairing request Similar to:
   Pair with TimeLume_XXXX ? (where XXXX can be a combination of digits and letters)
   Accept the pairing request.

Congratulations. You now have completed the app installation.
From now on, everytime your Smartphone will automatically connect
to your TimeLume and synchronize the time(if both are within Bluetooth range).
After the initial time synchronization, TimeLume can keep a correct time for more than a week
without a connection to a Smartphone. However, in case of power failure or
Daylight saving time shift, a new synchronization will be needed.

Timelume Configuration

After successful App installation and time synchronization, the App makes it possible
to configure the following aspects of TimeLume functionality:

• Time format (default: 24H).
• Temperature format (default: temp. is displayed and is in the Celsius scale).
• Display Orientation (default : Normal)
